Tanzania's EdTech landscape is best characterised as policy-consolidating and programme-accelerating, but infrastructure- and equity-constrained. The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology (MoEST) has evolved from an early 'ICT-in-education' framing toward a broader digital education transformation agenda, coordinating with the President's Office — Regional Administration and Local Government (PO-RALG) and the Tanzania Institute of Education (TIE).
