The flourishing of EdTech startups/companies depends on several factors. One of the critical factors is finance. As Vandenberg et al. (2020) articulated, ‘’Finance is a central component – it might be argued it is the central component, as inadequate finance will limit the potential of startups’’. Given the importance of funding Edtech startups/companies, this issue has become debatable worldwide.
